If you’re dreaming of a quiet luxury escape in Tulum, Jashita Hotel deserves a top spot on your list. I recently spent two nights at this boutique hideaway on Soliman Bay, and it turned out to be exactly what so many travelers crave today: privacy, calm Caribbean waters, thoughtful design, and cuisine that feels both elevated and comforting. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway or simply want to disconnect from the noise of everyday life, Jashita delivers a refined version of remote relaxation.

Where It’s Located: Soliman Bay’s Most Peaceful Corner

Jashita Hotel sits on the tranquil shores of Soliman Bay, a protected cove known for its clear waters and soft, swimmable shoreline. It’s far removed from the busier hotel zone and nightlife-heavy areas of Tulum, yet close enough for short trips into town.

  • From Tulum town: approx. 10–15 minutes by car
  • From Cancun Airport (CUN): approx. 1 hr 20 min
  • From Tulum Airport (TQO): roughly 50–60 minutes, depending on routing

The location makes it ideal for travelers seeking serenity without total isolation.

Design: Moroccan Warmth Meets Southeast Asian Calm

What makes the property stand out immediately is its thoughtful design, inspired by Moroccan and Southeast Asian influences. Expect warm earth tones, handcrafted wooden elements, stone pathways, lantern lighting, and breezy open-air spaces that create a soothing, sanctuary-like atmosphere.

Nothing feels overdone. Every corner feels curated yet relaxed, with a focus on natural materials and a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. It’s the kind of place where you instantly slow down.

Our Suite: Private Plunge Pool Living

During my stay, I checked into the Deluxe Suite – Tropical View, which quickly became one of my favourite rooms I’ve experienced in Tulum. The suite featured:

  • A large balcony surrounded by lush greenery
  • An ensuite private plunge pool, perfect for morning dips or sunset lounging
  • Spacious interiors with a bright, minimalist design
  • A luxurious spa-like bathroom

It’s the ideal setup if you want privacy, comfort, and your own quiet corner to unwind.

Dining at Pandano: Italian Meets Mexican Freshness

Jashita’s culinary highlight is Pandano, the hotel’s Italian-Mexican fusion restaurant. The menu blends handmade Italian classics with bright local ingredients—think fresh seafood, homemade pasta, wood-fired dishes, and vibrant Mexican flavours.

Every meal I had there was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of character. Breakfast is another standout, with tropical fruit, pastries, eggs cooked to order, and plenty of Italian touches that make mornings feel indulgent.

Experiences: Paddle, Snorkel, Restore

One of the best perks of staying at Jashita is the complimentary water equipment available to guests. Paddleboards, snorkel gear, and kayaks are included, making it easy to explore the calm bay right from the hotel’s beachfront.

For wellness lovers, the on-site Caoba Spa offers a full menu of treatments, including Mayan rituals guided by a Shaman, plus massage therapies, facials, and holistic experiences. The property also features a well-equipped gym and peaceful spaces for yoga or meditation.

Why Jashita Is Ideal for a Remote, Restorative Stay

Jashita is the hotel you choose when you need genuine rest. It’s intentionally quiet, intimate, and deeply connected to the natural beauty of Soliman Bay. Between the thoughtful design, the incredible food, the water activities, and the restorative spa rituals, it’s a place where you can genuinely disconnect—without sacrificing comfort or luxury.

If your goal is to slow down, reconnect with yourself or your partner, and enjoy one of the most peaceful corners of Tulum, Jashita delivers an unforgettable experience.
